Staying in Berlin is an easy enough task for tourists.  Whether you have a lot of money to spend or are struggling to find the most inexpensive accommodations for a student spending a gap year travelling the world, you can find what you need in this city.

You will also find Hotel California and Hotel Augusta rates to be in a moderate price range.The Grande Hotel Esplanade, Hotel Berlin, and the Scheiwerhof are located in between Breitscheidplatz and Lutzowplatz and are considered several of the deluxe hotels in Berlin where you can enjoy great service at a slightly more expensive price range.Students on a limited budget and backpackers will find a great deal of choices in Berlin. 

This is because so many small hotels that offer cheap rates and agreeable services have been in boom since almost 15 years ago. Check the prices of the Fabrik, Circus, Jugendgastehaus Berlin and other similar hostels and you will be surprised at how much you can save up on in board and lodging.

You will also find bigger hotels that offer very competitive prices on the Eastern side of Bradenburg gate. These include the Westin Grand Berlin, the Hilton Berlin, or the Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin, and the Hotel Agon on Alexanderplatz.If you are already confused at the many hotels you can choose from, remember one thing: both West and East Berlin have different centers and each has their own charms.  It is up to you to choose on which side you would like to be nearer to.  Additionally, you will be pleasantly surprised at how well public transportation is run in this city.  

You would find no problems in staying somewhere which is farther from the city centers but is less costly.  If you really would rather be near shopping areas, dining areas, and entertainment areas, then you should be prepared to pay a higher price.

Also, some of the smaller hostels change prices from season to season depending on the number of guests that are coming in. So be sure to check with your travel agent or online for the best deals that you can find.
